Madhur Jain is the CEO and Co-Founder of Varaha, Asia’s leading venture in high-quality carbon removals. Varaha drives impactful projects in regenerative agriculture, afforestation, enhanced rock weathering, and biochar initiatives, spanning more than 1.3 million acres and benefiting over 200,000 farmers across India, South Asia and Southeast Asia.

Before co-founding Varaha, Madhur served as the Digital Business Lead for the South Asia division of a prominent AgriTech startup, where he established three distinct business verticals and built a multifunctional team of over 85 members. Earlier in his career, Madhur was appointed as the inaugural India Country Director for Precision Development (PxD), a global social enterprise which today reaches more than 18 million smallholders.

Madhur has a background in Engineering and holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Originally from the Himalayan region, he is also an enthusiastic wildlife photographer passionate about nature and conservation.
