A distinguished graduate of IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta, Mr Taranjeet Singh Bhamra, Founder & CEO, AgNext Technologies, is an accomplished business leader and a visionary entrepreneur with a remarkable record of excellence spanning over 20 years in strategy consulting, investment banking, and high-impact entrepreneurial roles in both Indian and international markets.

Mr Bhamra’s vision for a world where farmers and agribusinesses can transact more efficiently using cutting-edge technologies has led AgNext to become a trailblazer in deep-tech innovations. He established AgNext as a pioneering force, innovating ground-breaking solutions for food quality management in the realm of deep tech, that is today being deployed at multiple transaction points across the food chains, to solve quality with trust, speed, transparency and traceability. The business grew at a phenomenal pace under the vision and direction of Mr Taranjeet Bhamra, raised the largest series A funding in the Indian agritech industry, established its presence across 5+ countries and 1600+ locations pan India, and is now an empire of 2000+ professionals including on-demand players.

In recognition of his numerous accomplishments, Mr. Bhamra held honorary representative positions at the Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (North India), served as Chairman of CII (Chandigarh), and is a member of the National Agriculture Committee of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). He is also a member of the esteemed committee of National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) Deep tech Startup council formed to drive innovation and growth in India. He is awardee of “Young Alumni Award 2023” by his prestigious alma mater at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT, KGP).

Mr. Bhamra’s illustrious career began at HSBC in London, where he honed his skills as a finance professional before taking on a key leadership role as Business Solutions Manager for the M.H. Alshaya Group, the world’s leading brand franchise operator in the Middle East. Prior to founding AgNext, he also served as an associate director for KPMG, where his role was instrumental in driving growth from scratch for the business vertical & facilitating the organization’s geographic expansion across the Middle East and Europe.

Mr. Bhamra is also known for his voluntary contributions to social causes, embodying his commitment to making a positive impact on the world.
