Ruchita Chhabra leads food systems work for The Climate Group in India, working with businesses and other stakeholders to advance sustainable sourcing, resilient supply chains and climate action across the food and agriculture sector. Her current work focuses on understanding common challenges faced by businesses and bringing together companies and wider ecosystem actors for collective action to address barriers to scale in the Indian context.

She has over 20 years of experience working across sustainable supply chains, agriculture, textiles and apparel, corporate sustainability and multi-stakeholder programmes, with experience spanning farmer engagement, supply-chain transformation and partnership building. Her work has involved supporting businesses to translate sustainability ambitions into practical approaches across their supply chains, while bringing together companies, farmers, development organisations and other stakeholders around shared challenges. She brings a cross-sector perspective on what it takes to move from individual initiatives and commitments towards approaches that can work at scale.
