At Varaha, Ankita leads a multidisciplinary team of 50+ experts across science, carbon modeling, project development, and carbon supply operations. She oversees a diverse portfolio of 10+ regenerative agriculture and agroforestry projects spanning India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Kenya. With 14+ years of global experience, Ankita has previously held leadership roles at industry giants such as Bayer, Monsanto, Covance, and Genentech across the USA, Germany, and India, successfully managing business portfolios exceeding $100 million. Ankita is a seasoned entrepreneur; prior to Varaha, she founded and led an AgTech startup focused on the design and development of IoT sensors to provide precision, farm-level advisory services to horticultural farmers. She holds an MS in Biotechnology from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
