An accomplished professional with more than 2 decades of experience in building and executing strategies for scaled CSR and sustainability programs. 

Currently work as AVP ESG with Varun Beverages Ltd. with focus on ESG & CSR initiatives, corporate sustainability & governance, aligning organizational initiatives that embed sustainability into long-term business resilience— with a sharp focus on Natural Resource Management, water stewardship, renewable Energy, circular economy, regenerative growth and climate-aligned value creation.

With cross-functional experience spanning development sector and corporate leadership, I focus on steering the company’s CSR & ESG goals that go beyond compliance to deliver long-term business and societal value.

Pioneered in setting up, strengthening and scaling up CSR functions and corporate foundations aligned with organization’s vision and business objectives. Extensive experience in strategic partnerships with various civil society organisations and corporate for the benefit of people at the bottom of the pyramid in various grassroot community initiatives- Health, education, Livelihood, Water & Women. Formerly associated with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry as CEO of its Foundation, TERI, MCX, Topworth Group of Companies and ISAP. Have been active ICC Member of POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) at various Corporates. Authored Chapters in Books and owes to credit various Publications in National and International Journals. Travelled extensively in remote rural areas across states in India for program development & partnerships and worked with multi-cultural & multi-lingual teams.

A certified CSR & ESG professional with Masters in Environment Science from Jamia Hamdard and Doctorate from TERI University. Over the years, she has been recognised with awards for CSR & Sustainability leadership.
