Executive Vice President & Head – Social Investments, ITC Limited. Since mid-2021, he oversees all social interventions of ITC focused on enhancing social and environmental capital – Natural Resource Management; Sustainable / Climate Smart Agriculture; Human Capability Development; Public & Community Health; Women Empowerment & Livelihoods. He is also a member of ITC’s Sustainability Compliance and Review Committee.

An alumnus of KREC Suratkal and XLRI, Jamshedpur with 37 years experience, of which 30 years has been with ITC. Prior to the current role, he was in Human Resources in Agribusiness, FMCG, Information Technology and Corporate. He was also associated for 7 years with TVS Motors and Murugappa Group in Human Resources.

He is a member of CII’s National Committee on CSR, CII National Committee on Water and the Steering Committee of India Sanitation Coalition. For the last 3 years, he has also been an assessor for the ICSI National CSR Awards. He has also been actively associated with NHRD, CII, EFSI, HMA and Global Compact Network India.
