Bio

Emerald has 25 years leading teams in North America and Asia. Prior to joining the LABS Initiative, he worked in a multitude of industries for internationally recognized organizations, such as Bank of America, Bridgestone & Firestone, Farmer’s Insurance, First Data and Luxottica, ranging from automotive, banking, insurance, optical, payments and telecommunications.

He graduated with a Bachelor’s from Pepperdine University in the US and a dual Master’s from Paris Université VIII Vincennes – Saint-Denis and the Royal University of Law and Economics in Cambodia. He’s the GESI Practitioner for IDH in Cambodia.

He currently has roles outside of LABS & IDH, which include Chair of Benelux Cambodia, Vice Chair of EuroCham Garment & Manufacturing Committee, Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Belgium in Phnom Penh and Independent Director for a CSO and a start-up micro-insurance company. He previously served as Acting Chair & Vice Chair of IDH’s Global Employee Council and Chair of EuroCham committee.
