Sagar Kaushik is an honors graduate in Agriculture Sciences with MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Sagar holds a work experience of more than 40 years in Farm Input Solutions including Specialty Chemicals & Biological Portfolio. Works for UPL Ltd., which is amongst the top 5 leading companies globally in the Agrochemical Sector.

Sagar joined UPL in 2010 as Chief Operating Officer for global business. UPL is present in 130 countries and has established manufacturing in 45 countries and R&D facilities in India, USA, Brazil, Europe. Prior to UPL, Sagar worked for Bayer CropScience in Germany, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and India on top leadership positions.

Sagar has also been part of the global Research & Development committee of large multi-national companies during his tenure. Currently, Sagar has the position of President, Global Corporate & Industry Affairs. He is engaged in Policy Advocacy, Corporate Communications and Industry Affairs globally.

Sagar holds the following positions in the industry:

2.⁠ ⁠Chairman, Federation for Agri-Value Chain, Manufacturers & Exporters (FAME)

4.⁠ ⁠Part of bilateral forums & delegations between India and other countries i.e. USA, Brazil, Argentina
5.⁠ ⁠Activity driving Academia:Industry collaborations in India to accurate innovation across manufacturing chain
6. Sagar also Co-Chairs ‘Agriculture Working Group of India’ of BRICS.
7.⁠ ⁠Sagar is also Sherpa to India:USA CEO Forum.
