Sachin is an Agri-Business professional with 21 years of experience in Agribusiness Sector and currently working as Vice President & Head – Agri & Dairy Operations at ITC Agri Business.
Sachin is part of ITC Agri Business Leadership team, heading Agri and Dairy Operations, e-Choupal project, Rural Marketing & Agri Services and anchoring new projects across Horticulture, Medicinal plants and digital agri-value chains. He is also leading the roll out of ITCMAARS, ITC Millet initiatives, formation of farmer collectives (FPOs) and Agri-Sustainability.
Sachin has handled various leadership roles in past including regional head for North & Central India and Project Head for new category development.
MBA in Agri Business Management from MANAGE, (Ministry of Agriculture) Hyderabad, Sachin has been the batch topper and Gold Medalist and has been inducted in wall of Fame of the Institute. A graduate in Agriculture from GB pant University, he was recipient of Chancellor’s and Vice Chancellor Gold Medal for being Best All-round student in University. He finished his MS from PAU Ludhiana with ICAR Research Fellowship and University Merit.
Sachin has been an active member of various Industry bodies and regularly represents ITC at various external forums and summits. He has been convener of Ministry of Agriculture task force on market linkages for FPOs, Convener of CII task force for FPO marketing and member of CII and FICCI Agri and millets Task group.
